Kick off your adventure by meeting your fellow explorers and indulging in a mouthwatering street food tour through Hanoi's Old Quarter. Our knowledgeable Trip Leader will guide you to the best local spots, where you can savour bánh mì, pho, spring rolls, and the unique egg coffee – it’s all delicious, trust us. Afterwards, head to Bai Hoi (Beer Corner). No prizes for guessing how this place got its name. Grab a roadside stool, a cold Bia Hà Nội, and get to know the group. We might be a diverse bunch, but we’re all in this together. Cheers to new friendships!
Explore the vibrant Mekong Delta region, a tropical maze of rivers and swamps reminiscent of The Jungle Book. To make markets more exciting, put them on boats! We'll witness the impressive pineapple tossing skills of traders at the traditional floating market in Cai Be. This unique experience brings the local culture to life in a way you've never seen before.
Discover the "rice bowl" of Vietnam with an immersive boat trip through the Mekong Delta. Navigate the intricate waterways and enjoy a stop at a local bonsai gardener’s home for a delightful lunch. Our stay includes a traditional homestay with a local family, where our host will teach us the art of Vietnamese cooking in an exclusive masterclass.
Discover one of the “New 7 Wonders of Nature” - Ha Long Bay. What makes it even better is you’ll on be on a junk cruise as you admire the towering limestone karsts and emerald waters. After exploring the stunning Ha Long Bay, we'll continue our journey to the ancient city of Hoi An in the traditional way – by overnight train. This scenic and authentic travel experience will give you a true taste of Vietnamese culture and landscapes as you travel through the night.
Get ready for a real-life temple adventure! You’ll start by exploring the Angkor Thom complex with the expert local guide. Traverse the statue-lined South Gate, admire the intricately decorated Bayon Temple, and marvel at the Elephant Terrace. Next, we visit Ta Prohm, a ruin filled with crumbling towers and overgrown tree roots – straight out of Tomb Raider. After a break to refuel and rehydrate, you’ll head to the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat temple. The world's largest temple complex is beyond otherworldly. End the day with an optional quad bike tour to soak up an epic sunset, and then gather for your final group dinner with Isabella and the rest of the group at a local eatery.
